Rules for E-mail Messages

E-mails will just pile up in the Inbox by default, now this may be ok if you only have a few e-mails a month but it's not very good if you have lots of e-mails every day. The list of e-mails would eventually get so big that you would find it difficult trying to find e-mails you wanted.

There is a way of tellig Outlook Express what to do with e-mails to keep them all tidy and easy to navigate, this is known as message rules. You create a rule for each e-mail based on various criteria such as a word or words in the subject line and depending on what this is send that e-mail to a specified folder or to the delete bin.
