Example of e-mail proprties

Clicking on the properties option will open the properties dialogue box which give you all the pertinent information about the e-mail in question. An example of this information and dialogue box can be seen on the right.

You will notice that there are two tabs on it, you only need the information on the first one, (the second tab Details is just a lot of technical stuff regarding it's journey to your inbox, if you wish to look at it then feel free to do so but I will not be going into it here)

This tab gives the following information or propereties of the e-mail:

** The subject line

** Where it is from

** The type of message it is, in this case it's a mail maessage

** It's location on your computer disk, in this case it's in the inbox

** It's size, e-mails aren't usually large and this one comes to 7 KB in size

** It's priority level, this one is normal, (mmmmmmmm, unusual for me <LOL>)

** The date and time it was sent, this was sent on 17/05/2007 at 09:45 am

** The date and time it was recieved, this was recieved on the 17/05/2007 at 09:46 am

Clicking on the OK or cancel buttons will close this dialogue box.
