Outline Tools
The Outline pen gives you access to various settings that affect the outline (the narrow blick line around the outside of the object) of the selected object. You can control the width of the outline, clicking on this gives you a dropo down list going from no outline and increasing in various incremenets in millimeters (mm). You also have control over how the corners are going to look, will they be rounded or sharp? What type of arrows you wish to have at the end of the line (for things like pointers in diagrams), you have two choices on this one, an arrow type for the left pointing arrow and an arrow type for the right poiting arrow. And you can change it's colour, clicking on the small colour box in the top left-hand corner will cause a pallette to drop where you can select a colour for your outline. All the setting you need to manipulate the outline of the selected object are in the dialogue box shown on the right. Just make your selection then click on the OK button at the bottom of the dialogue box. NOTE:- Don't forget that if you change the outline to ' No Outline ' or change it to the colour of the object, you will not see an outline when you either draw a new object on top of the original object or move an object over another object of the same colour.
