Mode menu

The mode changes the colour of the image you are working with, for example, if you are working with a full colour bitmap and wish change it to grey scale, (a black & white type picture similar to those you see in newspapers), you would do the following:

1. Ensure that the bitmap you wish to work on is selected, (you can import more than one bitmap into corel draw)

2. Clicxk on the Bitmap menu

3. Let the mouse pointer rest on the Mode option

4. Select the Grey Scale option from the resulting sub menu

If you wanted to change the picture you were working on to black and white, (just black and white, no grey or colour) repeat the procedure above but this time select the Black and White option instead of Grey Scale

That's about the size of this option, it does nothing more than change the colours of the image you are working on but it does have it's uses, in particular the Black & White and Grey Scale options.
