Drawing Circles and Ellipses (ovals)

Example of Circle and Ellipse

Drawing circles and ellipses (ovals) is quite easy. Click on the Ellipse tool, it is the sixth one down from the top in the tool box bar down the left-hand side of the screen, if you haven't changed the default layout. It is used in the following way:

1. After clicking on the Ellipse button, move the mouse pointer back onto the blank document

2. it should be a small cross, place it where you wish the top left-hand corner of the circle to be

3. Press and hold down the left mouse mouse button

4. Drag the mouse pointer to the right and down until you have drawn the circle or ellipse you wish.

5. A circle and ellipse (oval) are shown on the right
