PS/2 Connector

PS/2 Connector

This is a type of connector found on some keyboards and mice, an example of which is shown on the right. They are increasingly being replaced by USB connectors and infra-red conectors.

They replaced the original serial type plugs and 5 pin din type plugs around the late 1980's and was named after the IBM Personal System 2 series of computers.
