Saving / Printing a web Page

Just a quick mention of infringement of copyright, always try to get the owners permission before downloading copyrighted material, (I say always try because a lot of the time your request goes unanswered).

Sometimes you will come across a web page which has more than sufficient information and is just too much to copy and paste, the best way is to print it out or save it to disk for preusal at a later date. These two actions are performed as follows:

Printing out a web page:

1. Find the web page that you wish to print out and have it displayed in your web browser

2. Move the mouse pointer up to the File menu and click the left mouse button

3. Move the mouse pointer down to the Print option and click the left mouse button

4. Your printer dialogue box should now be displayed, (at this point, printer dialogue boxes are slightly different so it will be difficult for me ot specify exact mouse button clicks)

5. Click on the print button and follow any prompts you are given and you should have th eprinted web page

Saving a web page to disk:

Standard Windows Folder Navigation Dialogue Box

1. Find the web page that you wish to print out and have it displayed in your web browser

2. Move the mouse pointer up to the File menu and click the left mouse button

3. Move the mouse pointer down to the Save As option and click the left mouse button

4. You should see a standard windows file location dialogue box come up sinilar to that shown on the right

5. Navigate through the folders on your hard disk to find a place to save the web page

6. Click on the Save button
