Plugins

Plugins are programs that you add to Corel Draw, (or any other program) that enhance it's capabilities in some way or adds an effect or texture that Corel Draw doesn't already have. For example, if you import a photo (bitmap) and you wish to take the background away from it, Corel Draw does not have a faclity for doing it but you could search the Internet for one that will or go buy one from a shop that will do it and add it as a plugin using the steps below.

NOTE:- Any plugins you use should be compatible with Corel Draw. make sure that it does state that it will work with Corel Draw.

You can add a plugin in the following way:

1. Click on the Tools menu button

2. Click on the Options item

3. From the list in the dialogue box that is displayed click on plugins

4. Click on the Add Option

5. You will see a small file / Folder navigation window. Navigate to the folder in which the plugin is located

6. Click on the OK button and the plugin you selected will be placed in the window of the plugins list.

7. If you do not wish to add any more plugins at htis time click on the OK button, if you wish to add more plugins repeat steps 1 to 6 again.
